Ainsworth Opens Tonight in Chelsea

The Ainsworth, a new sports bar in Chelsea from the people who brought you the Hill, opens tonight. Like its Murray Hill predecessor, the Ainsworth has lots of TVs parked in a 6,000-square-foot glossy lounge setting with “American-fusion” food that’s a bit more adventurous than your wings-and-a-pitcher neighborhood standby. Rest assured, there are still wings — of the “garlic and chili” variety.

Starting September 14, you can watch Monday Night Football with a real-life New York Giant linebacker Danny Clark. The MNF parties are ticketed: $75 covers an open bar, food, and “unobstructed TV views from any angle.” (Proceeds benefit the Danny Clark Foundation, which benefits underserved youth.)
